Mid Winter Edition, 1995 Sale void where prohibited Volume 3, Number 8
Welcome to the second of four issues in which, with great celerity, we hope to repair the damage done to our punctuality. Our more observant readers may have noticed that this issue is marked "Mid Winter Edition" and, although it would sometimes be difficult to tell simply by looking outside, it is no longer Mid Winter. Beginning with the Early Winter edition, we have been ambitiously attempting to catch up to the current month, whatever it may be when this issue is published. We ask for your continuing support in this difficult time. Prudence and Camilla are still yet to be found. Letters and donations are therefore still greatly appreciated. In addition, if any reader happened to be traveling near Iceland near the time of the Sea Ferret's disappearance and has information about the ship, please contact the OUMMCBNOM printing offices, and you will be put in touch with the proper authorities. In addition, we would like to take this opportunity to remind you of the mission statement contest voting. As subscriber participation is very important to the OUMMCBNOM, we believe that allowing subscribers to help choose our mission will make that mission more reflective of the true nature of the OUMMCBNOM. We are happy to announce that a brand new shiny edition of Deep Contemplations is featured in this OUMMCBNOM for your enjoyment. In addition, we have a special poem translation, in which we have attempted to make that strange art we know as poetry accessible to every reader. Also in this issue is one of two essays written by members of the award-winning Berkley/Troy Community Problem Solving Team, concerning gifted programs. So prepare to be dazzled by another exciting issue of the OUMMCBNOM!
